Patricia Dycus grew up in Seminole County and spent her senior year of high school interning in the local hospital Radiology department.
She was enamored with the many imaging technologies represented in the field of Radiology and decided that was her calling.
After completing a highly competitive Radiology program she obtained a degree from Seminole Community College. She continued her training by becoming registered in Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine and Mammography.
After managing a Women’s Breast Center for more than ten years, she furthered her education by obtaining a Registered Radiologist Assistant degree from Loma Linda Medical School in California.
Patricia was the first registered Radiologist Assistant licensed in the State of Florida and brings to her position 40 years of experience in many of the imaging modalities.
What she enjoys most about her ten-year career with Sand Lake Imaging is working with high-quality and well-trained Radiologists. She also enjoys working with state-of-art equipment at multiple sites.
Patricia misses her two children and five grandchildren who recently relocated out of state. During her free time, she enjoys baking, playing tennis, and spending time with her friends.
