Joselynn Olmo, Imaging Research Assistant

Joselynn joined the research team in March of 2021.

As an Imaging Research Assistant, she assists with communications, the collection, and distribution of subject data to external research facilities.

She is a student striving for a degree in Clinical Psychology with the hopes to engage in research studies for psychiatric medicine. When she’s not working or in school, she enjoys relaxing at home with her 2 cats, Pepper and Wasabi. Some of her other interests include art, writing, and music.

Laura Ramirez, Imaging Research Coordinator

Laura works as an Imaging Research Coordinator at Sand Lake Imaging. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a major in Health Sciences. She aspires to become a physician and is currently applying to medical schools.

She was born in Colombia and has lived in Orlando for the past 17 years. Her favorite seasons are spring and summer as she enjoys being outdoors. Some of her hobbies include longboarding, surfing, and wrestling.

Jennifer Collins, Clinical Research Liaison

Jennifer joined the research team in January 2020.

Jennifer was born and raised in Central Florida. She started her healthcare journey as a teenage volunteer at a local hospital and has continued to work in healthcare for the past 25 years. She is passionate about customer service within the scope of the medical field and advocates for patient care.

Jennifer has 3 children, with only one child still living at home. She enjoys spending time with family and friends while at the beach or lakeside here in Florida. She also enjoys traveling to Oregon to visit her grown children, where they go hiking and sightseeing along the coast.

Daniel Tamayo, RN, Clinical Research Nurse

Daniel joined the research team in March of 2020.

Originally from Omaha, NE, he graduated from the University of Nebraska in 2016 with a degree in nursing. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for 3 years and they have a 2-year-old son named Bernie.

In their free time, they like to try and stay active and get outside whether it’s going to the beach or visiting a local farm for blueberry picking. He also enjoys kicking back at home and watching sports or Schitt’s Creek.

Samira Hassan, Research Regulatory Specialist

Hi! My name is Samira. I am a full-time student pursuing my bachelor’s in healthcare administration. In addition to school, I am also a full-time dog mom, fiancé, daughter, and sister. I have a strong passion for the elderly community and hope my career path will lead me to make a difference in their lives.

Being a part of the research team at Sand Lake Imaging has afforded me many new experiences and opportunities that have helped expand my knowledge and have contributed to my growth in healthcare. I have the privilege to work alongside a talented group of individuals on a number of different research studies and I am thankful to be a part of the process.

When I am not tending to homework, work, or my everyday responsibilities, you can likely find me at a beach or cuddled up at home with my dog, Romeo. I have many roles in life, one of my favorite being the clinical research regulatory specialist at Sand Lake Imaging.

Courtney Langley, RN, Director of Global Clinical Research

Courtney is originally from St. Louis MO. She has 15 years of experience as an established and highly skilled RN, with a background in emergency medicine, trauma, flight nursing, and interventional radiology.

After moving to Orlando in December 2016, she joined SLI’s research team. Now, as the Director of Global Clinical Research, Courtney specializes in business development and serves as a clinical liaison facilitating growth into markets outside of central Florida. With a special clinical interest in both GI and NASH studies, her leadership and expertise in study start-up and vendor management have contributed to the ongoing expansion of SLI’s research department both locally and globally.

Outside of her role at SLI, Courtney spends much of her free time with her 19-year-old son, her family, her friends, at the beach, and traveling.

George C. Berry, RT (R) MR, Administrative Director of Clinical Research

George has been with SLI since it opened in 2005. He brings over 35 years of imaging experience and leadership. George is responsible for business development, research study start-ups, and the overall growth and performance of our research program.

A graduate of Orlando Regional Medical Center School of Radiology, George is a registered radiologic and MRI technologist. Additionally, he is also a graduate of the Florida Criminal Justice Academy and has been a certified law enforcement officer for 30 years. With his many years of clinical research experience, expertise, and leadership, he has been key in helping Sand Lake Imaging become a leader in the research industry.

Patricia Dycus, RRA ARRT(R) (M), ARDMS (B)(OB/GYN)(AB)

Patricia Dycus grew up in Seminole County and spent her senior year of high school interning in the local hospital Radiology department.

She was enamored with the many imaging technologies represented in the field of Radiology and decided that was her calling.

After completing a highly competitive Radiology program she obtained a degree from Seminole Community College. She continued her training by becoming registered in Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine and Mammography.

After managing a Women’s Breast Center for more than ten years, she furthered her education by obtaining a Registered Radiologist Assistant degree from Loma Linda Medical School in California.

Patricia was the first registered Radiologist Assistant licensed in the State of Florida and brings to her position 40 years of experience in many of the imaging modalities.

What she enjoys most about her ten-year career with Sand Lake Imaging is working with high-quality and well-trained Radiologists. She also enjoys working with state-of-art equipment at multiple sites.

Patricia misses her two children and five grandchildren who recently relocated out of state. During her free time, she enjoys baking, playing tennis, and spending time with her friends.

Alexandra Osorio, MD

Dr. Osorio has special interest in oncology, breast, and musculoskeletal imaging.

Dr. Osorio was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed her residency program at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During her residency, she enjoyed the patient interaction and hands-on experience with patients. She went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Osorio has been practicing radiology for slightly over 18 years.

After her training, Dr. Osorio came to Central Florida with her family and was for many years in the Florida Hospital system (now AdventHealth) before joining Sand Lake Imaging in 2012.

Dr. Osorio enjoys treating patients through radiology by helping diagnose pathology and answer critical questions needed for the successful treatment of diseases.

She enjoys being with her family which includes her husband, three children, and two American Pit bulls. Her children have an average of 5 years in between them which keeps her on her toes.

Charlotte D. Elenberger, MD

Dr. Elenberger has recently been named one of Orlando’s best doctors by Best Doctors in America and Consumers Guide to Top Doctors.

Dr. Elenberger specializes in breast imaging and intervention, and she completed fellowship training in breast imaging and body imaging at Duke University Medical Center. She is board certified in radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology’s Society of Breast Imaging and has achieved LEVEL II cardiac CT certification.
