Chetna graduated in August 2000 as an x-ray technician and in 2004, graduated as a mammography technologist. She joined our mammography team at Sand Lake Imaging in January 2019 and says the best part about working at Sand Lake Imaging is she appreciates all the support she has received from her co-workers and the radiologists. She is so happy to be a part of the SLI family now.

To Chetna, the best part of being a mammography technologist is that it has taught her to be compassionate, caring, and understanding with all patients. She is thankful to our women’s health radiology specialist Dr. Lynda Frye who has shared some of her own mammogram techniques.

What inspired Chetna to make a career in the field of radiology is how radiology plays such an important role in the diagnosis of all diseases for patients. Chetna knows that patients come in daily for mammograms and are often afraid of the procedure and outcome so she takes her time to explain the exam in detail. This makes the patient’s experience as comfortable as possible.

In her spare time, Chetna loves to be home with her husband and two children and spend family time cooking. She also loves to dance.
